BÄCHLER TOP TRACK AG, founded in 1970 by A.R. Bächler, was taken over in 1999 through a management buyout by Mr. Claus Dangel and Mr. Bruno Koch to guarantee the seamless transition to a new generation. They have been working for the company for many years and have decades of experience to continue producing and supporting Bächlers dynamic product range.

1970

Anton Robert Bächler founds the single company A. R. Bächler and starts to develop and distribute track setters.

1976

The first big track setter deal was completed. For the winter Olympic games in Innsbruck the cross country tracks was prepared with Bächler track setters. Followed by the most other World-cups and Olympic games.

1985

Start with snowmaking business in the middle of the 80’ with importation of HKD lances out of America. Successful installed in Davos and Laax.

1999

Converting the single company A. R. Bächler based in Hergiswil (NW) into the shareholder company Bächler Top Track AG with a management buyout by Claus Dangel (CEO) and Bruno Koch (CTO).

2000

Quality problems on the imported snow lances led to the decision to start the first own development in snow lances. The result VANESSA – VAriable NEw Super Snow Aggregate. The head office moves to Stans (NW) to control prototype production and do the assembly in house.

2005

Takeover of the operational business of NIGA Maschinen- und Metallbau AG in Auw (AG). Starting with the own production in tracksetters and snowmaking accessories.

2015

April 2015 start into the complete own production in tracksetter and snow lance equipment. The head office moves to Emmenbrücke (LU) combined with a takeover of the mechanical business of ARMEC Mechanik AG.

2018

April 2018 founding of a registered branch office in Austria to serve the very important market directly.
