SnoTek MEDUSA

The power package optimized for maximum performance

The license for maximum snow production up to 120 m3 per hour

The SnoTek builds on the proven NESSy technology (see NESSy datasheet). The combination of NESSy nozzle technology with the patented nozzle technology of SnoTek results in throwing distances similar to low-pressure snow-makers and with equal amounts of snow. Furthermore the SnoTek nozzle technology is virtually insensitive to wind and throws the snow exactly where you want it. SnoTek has eight snowing levels which enable you to always produce the desired quality of snow.

Given the increasingly scarce time-frames for artificial snow production, the productivity of the snow making system is crucial!

This is the point where the double-head lance comes into its own. For example: At -2.5°WBT the lance can handle 4 l/s of water ( at 30 bar). This produces approximately 32m3 of snow per hour. Already at around -8°WBT the lance can be fully activated which, depending on the pressure, results in a production of up to 150m3 (at 60 bar) of snow per hour!

SnoTek MEDUSA builds on proven technology

  • Variable lance construction
  • Single or multi-stage lances
  • Existing lances can be converted easily

Specialversion SnoTek TRACK MEDUSA

The SnoTek TRACK MEDUSA closes the gap between the 1-head and 3-head TRACK variant and combines the focused throw with a larger area coverage. The alternative if the full performance of the SnoTek TRIDUSA is not required with identical parameters in the marginal temperature range.

The SnoTek TRACK MEDUSA offers an exciting variant if a comprehensive and focused snow output is required with the lowest possible scatter loss. Identical parameters as the 3-head class-leading snow lance SnoTek TRIDUSA with minimum lower performance and a slightly lower entry-level price.

The 2-steps lance reaches a water flow up to 338 l/min and can produce up to 46 m3 of snow per hour. The snow production starts at -1.5° wet-bulb temperature and the full performance is available form -4.5° WBT. Set up as a „stand-alone“ solution with an on-board compressor and water pump or integrated into an existing snowmaking concept the Bachler SnoTek TRACK MEDUSA offers both options. Snow right there where you need it.
